By: Space Mountain Delta Gold – Strain Review.
Id like to start this off, oddly enough, with the packaging. The design they used on their mylar packaging is very attractive to me, something about the Gold, White, Silver and Green on a Midnight Black mylar just stands out as cool to me, so I wanted to give Space Mountain Delta a gold a shoutout on a job very well done, I try not to say favorite too much, so I’ll just say I think the design looks amazing and leave it at that.
Now, onto the important bit…
I am not a huge sativa fan, I prefer the mellow relaxed feel I get from indicas, however, I realize that the downfall of indicas for me is my inability to really accomplish anything, with indica I’ll start off with good intentions with plans to write music, paint, work on this website, etc.. but time and time again I find myself lying on the couch looking at my stupid cellphone, however quite happy.
I’ll kick this off with the basics, Acapulco Gold is a Sativa that boast 20-25% THC with nearly 3% TERPS, Space Mountain did a fantastic job of growing this strain. Its a smooth smoke, well flushed, thats sticky and full of red hairs and blasting with trichomes. The flavor is earthy / sweet and lacks the dreaded dry mouth that comes with strains like Cake Mints.
The high is all the great things about sativa IE motivating and energizing, but something is different, like I said earlier I’m not a huge sativa fan mainly because of the jitters and racing heart i can get from them, Acapulco Gold for me, lacks all of that, after I smoke I find myself writing music, drawing, working on projects that would have otherwise laid dormant, I become focused, and aware but also very calm, no paranoia like I’ve had from other sativas, no anxiety, no jitters.
In closing, if you like the creative energy you get from a sativa but want to avoid the racing heart, jitters and paranoia associated with them, Acapulco Gold would be your perfect fit.
